Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Plant Operations Specialist to join our team at ColonialWebb. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ammonia and other refrigeration systems in a single plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting/repair support to ammonia and other refrigeration systems
  • Independently operate and maintain ammonia refrigeration systems
  • Perform maintenance tasks, including Cornell pump maintenance, Frick compressor maintenance, and valve change outs
  • Knowledge of Frick, FES, or other screw chillers
  • Universal EPA certification
  • RETA 1 certification (Preferred)

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of work experience as a Refrigeration Facilities Operator
  • Maintenance experience in a refrigeration system environment
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to deal diplomatically and communicate effectively with customers
  • A clean driving record and ability to pass a drug test and background check
