We are seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team at Island Palm Communities. As a Laborer, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and cleaning functions in our community, including resident homes, community centers, and grounds.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, groundskeeping, and delivery of materials.
- Assist maintenance teams and provide labor support as needed.
- Transport equipment, furnishings, and appliances to job sites.
- Remove debris and perform pressure washing of occupied and vacant homes.
- Load and unload trucks and other conveyances, and move supplies and materials to proper locations.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Entry-level knowledge of basic maintenance preferred.
- Must have a current vehicle license in good standing and meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy.
- Understand, read, write, and speak English in order to follow basic instructions, take direction from supervisors, respond to routine questions, and communicate effectively with clients, visitors, and organization staff.
