About the Role
As a Senior IT Project Coordinator – Medicaid Program Manager at Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality solutions to support the agency’s vision and roadmap for Medicaid programs. Reporting to the Director II of Medicaid IT Contracted Systems, you will work closely with the Systems Architect, Agile Program Lead/Release Train Engineer, and Product Strategy team to ensure contractor systems meet agency information technology directives, plans, goals, and contract requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Delivery Management: Collaborate with the Agile delivery teams to provide necessary input to refine stories, offer technical feedback, engage impacted stakeholders, coordinate with other enabler teams, and facilitate requests from other IT application or infrastructure teams. [25%]

2. Backlog Analysis: Analyze, document, and report on the IT component of product backlogs, focusing on quality delivery. This includes documenting risk factors, dependencies, enablers, and monitoring associated mitigation strategies. Provide status updates on delivery activities and respond to management inquiries. [25%]

3. Stakeholder Engagement: Routinely interact with business users and contracted IT representatives to ensure effective coordination and problem-solving. [50%]

We are seeking an individual with expertise in Agile Methodology, computer hardware and software, operating systems, and system development methodologies. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential for success in this role. Additionally, proficiency in product backlog management, Medicaid program knowledge, and problem-solving techniques using various approaches is required.
