Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team at Optum. As a key member of our healthcare logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating supply management strategies and tools to ensure the efficient stocking and restocking of supplies and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Independently make decisions and take action regarding supply implementations, keeping management informed, and/or making pertinent recommendations based upon analysis of information supply room set up and implementation, including selection of product mix and minimum/maximum determination.
  • Inventory Management: Support daily operations to meet customer quality, cost, and delivery requirements. Assist with development and maintenance of standard work for all Material Coordinator responsibilities.
  • Par Room Management: Update assigned Par Rooms with par level changes, maintain par room locations, and reorder point processing (ROP) for buy and transfer items.
  • Inventory Control: Accurately pull par room transfers and issue pick tickets, pick verify issue and transfer pick tickets, and proactively identify and trouble-shoot par room inventory variances.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Review and provide corrective action on negative inventory reports and item update exception reports.
Requirements
  • Education: High School, GED, or equivalent program.
  • Experience: Experience with Par Excellence software, and Infinium, and using Word and Excel software to advanced levels that includes mail merge and database management.
