Janitorial Supervisor, Second Shift

Job Description Summary

The Janitorial Supervisor reports to the Senior Operations Manager and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of employees within the shift and assigned buildings. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to ensure that services are performed as contracted and meet customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the overall activities of a project(s) and supervise the project crew.
  • Coordinate services activities for assigned buildings, ensuring that services are performed as contracted and meet customer specifications.
  • Maintain/monitor work schedules of all shift personnel, including the preparation and submission of weekly payroll time sheets.
  • Establish/maintain work performance standards.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks and manage materials inventory as well as general use of equipment.
  • Resolve on-site services delivery problems.
  • Participate in on-going management/technical skills development training programs, including safety and safety site committee.
  • Conduct orientation of new employees and develop employees' skills/abilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • One to three years of supervisory experience and up-to-date knowledge of cleaning practices/procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Motivated individual and proactive.
  • Background check required.
