Job Summary

This position is designed to expose student interns to all facets of specialty pharmacy practice, including operations, disease state specific call centers, clinics, and the infusion center. Interns will have opportunities to participate in clinical research projects and develop policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Rotate through specialty operations, call centers, clinics, and the infusion center
  • Participate in clinical research projects
  • Develop policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Registered with Kentucky Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacist Intern
  • High School plus Admitted to a College of Pharmacy
  • Attention to detail, knowledge of ambulatory retail pharmacy operations, and ability to prioritize
Preferred Qualifications
  • Retail Ambulatory experience
