Mosaic Life Care is seeking an experienced and passionate individual to fill the role of Experience Director at our Children's Discovery Center. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional visitor experiences, leading and supervising staff and volunteers, and contributing to the development of our standard operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Visitor Experience: Ensure that the discovery center provides a world-class visitor experience, with high-quality customer service and meaningful engagement for all visitors.
- Operations Supervision: Act as daily operations supervisor, ensuring that all exhibits, activities, and programs are prepped and maintained for the day.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise, coach, and develop all Floor Staff and PRN education staff, working with the Director and Inspire Education Coordinator to build and deliver onboarding, ongoing training, and professional development opportunities.
- Volunteer Management: Act as primary liaison and supervisor of all volunteers at the discovery center site.
- Gift Shop and Café Management: Coordinate inventory, display, and point of sale for the Gift Shop and Café.
- Exhibit Maintenance: Responsible for ordering, cleaning, and restocking of all exhibit props, loose parts, and materials.
- Performance Metrics: Work with the Director and Inspire Education Coordinator to ensure that inspireU is hitting all of its educational, participation, and revenue goals.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in education, public health, early childhood, arts, or science.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in retail, customer service, or guest-facing roles, with experience working with ticketing and/or customer software/applications, and 2 years of supervisory experience, including developing staff, performance management, and assigning work.
- Skills: Ability to work with diverse types of people, passion for families and children, enthusiasm for learning and play, and experience delivering memorable science, arts, movement, or other learning experiences to children or adults.
