Lead Housekeeping Coordinator

As a key member of the Support Services team, the Housekeeping Supervisor plays a vital role in overseeing the staff responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within the healthcare facility and its surrounding areas. This position entails taking full accountability during the absence of the department head.
In this role, you will:
- Assist in the management of housekeeping personnel, ensuring that all tasks are executed efficiently and effectively.
- Gather and analyze performance metrics to enhance service delivery.
- Collaborate in the development and oversight of the annual budget for the department.
- Engage in special projects as assigned, contributing to the overall improvement of services.
Position Requirements
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Preferred Education: Certification from the National Executive Housekeepers Association is advantageous.
- Experience: A minimum of three years in housekeeping roles, with at least one year in a supervisory capacity within an institutional setting.
- Preferred Certifications: IEHA - International Executive Housekeepers Association certification is preferred.
