Job Summary:
Mercy is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient Services team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care, maintaining professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
- Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers and coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments.
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information, performing duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed, meeting all state board of nursing requirements.
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis, with prolonged standing and walking each shift.
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
