Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Unit Manager to join our team at Regency Care of Arlington. As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our nursing department, supervising and directing nursing staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing department, including scheduling, staffing, and inventory management.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure the quality and safety of patient care.
  • Provide training and education to nursing staff on new policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
  • Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in a long-term care setting.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
