Key Responsibilities:

As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, your keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be essential in fulfilling the following duties:

  • Demonstrating a commitment to resident satisfaction through effective service request resolution and proactive maintenance.
  • Addressing maintenance challenges related to HVAC systems, electrical work, plumbing, and appliance repairs.
  • Preparing vacant units for new residents by executing necessary repairs and enhancements.
  • Maintaining the aesthetic appeal and safety of the property through routine upkeep, snow removal, and landscape management.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to all residents.
  • Being available for weekend or evening shifts and participating in an on-call rotation for emergency situations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in property maintenance or relevant technical education.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliance repair.
  • Possession of an HVAC certification or a willingness to obtain one within 90 days of employment.
  • Availability for emergency calls, including participation in an on-call schedule.
  • Ability to frequently lift 25 to 50 pounds and consistently lift 10 to 20 pounds.
  • Reliable transportation for commuting to work and responding to emergencies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Basic computer literacy and comfort with various software applications.
  • A proactive service-oriented mindset and eagerness to learn.
