Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Production Operator to join our team at II-VI Incorporated. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective production of high-quality semiconductor products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and document defects on wafers
  • Operate a scope to scan wafers
  • Measure wafers on a five-point grid
  • Clean wafers to meet quality standards
  • Participate in clean room experiments and process development programs
  • Document and implement new clean room procedures and specifications
  • Support the training of new employees in the clean room
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks in the clean room
  • Maintain semiconductor production work areas
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work weekend hours and overtime as needed
  • Experience with networked PC-based computer systems (Excel, Email, and MRP)
  • Technical aptitude with mechanical skills
  • Problem analysis and resolution skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures while suggesting improvements
  • Experience with 5S is a plus but not required
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)

  • Good hand dexterity
