Job Summary

We are seeking a board-certified Neurologist with expertise in Epilepsy to join our team at Ascension Seton. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical neurophysiology and experience in interpreting diagnostic tests. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with epilepsy, as well as participating in academic programs and ensuring the success of efforts to improve cost-effectiveness and quality of care.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with epilepsy, using appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
  • Coordinate discharge planning with case management to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultations, including on-call schedules, to provide expert care to patients.
  • Participate in academic programs, such as medical education and research, to contribute to the growth and development of our team.
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation of patient care, meeting insurance company requirements.
Requirements
  • Board certification in Neurology and subspecialty in Epilepsy or Clinical Neurophysiology.
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree required.
  • Licensure to practice medicine in the state of Texas.
