Overview

Directions for Living, a leading non-profit organization, seeks a dedicated Mental Health Clinical Specialist to join our team. As part of our mission to provide integrated healthcare and social support, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality psychiatric services to adult and youth clients.

Salary and Benefits

We offer an excellent compensation package, including a salary range of $130,000-$145,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including employer-paid health insurance premiums, 5 days of paid time off, 11 wellness days, and 10 paid holidays.

Job Responsibilities

This is a responsible position requiring clinical, psychiatric, medical, and administrative duties. As a Mental Health Clinical Specialist, you will provide outpatient psychiatric evaluations and medication management services to clients with behavioral health issues. You will work collaboratively with the Medical Director, other providers, and clinicians to deliver quality client care, formulate treatment plans, prescribe medications, order laboratory tests, and interpret results. You will also be responsible for patient education and documentation using electronic health records.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse/PMHNP and certification;
  • Florida Nursing License;
  • M.S. in Nursing;
  • A valid/current DEA Number;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel spreadsheets, and Word;
  • Ability to use telehealth platforms for service delivery and team supervision;
  • Competence in electronic health records.
