Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisory Dietitian Chief to join our team at the Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration. As a key member of our nutrition services team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality food and nutrition care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the planning and implementation of nutrition services, including menu planning, food preparation, and nutrition education.
  • Provide administrative and technical supervision to a team of dietitians and nutrition technicians.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of funds and equipment.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
  • Current registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in nutrition services, including supervisory experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
