Overview:

The Data Analyst will play a crucial role within the IT Asset Management division, engaging in various strategic and ad hoc initiatives aimed at enhancing asset management functionalities at iSoftTek Solutions Inc. The primary objective is to provide deeper insights and transparency to cybersecurity, incident response, and other organizational teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all facets of IT asset management, including automated asset discovery, metadata tagging, and asset lifecycle management.
  • Expertly gather, cleanse, integrate, analyze, model, identify trends, and present extensive data sets utilizing MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and/or Business Intelligence tools like Tableau.
  • Possess knowledge and experience across diverse asset categories, including Business Applications, physical and virtual endpoints, and data organization.
  • Identify and track intangible assets such as websites, databases, and virtual machines.
  • Understand the downstream applications and advantages of asset management data.
  • Have a working knowledge of the architectural components of a hybrid enterprise infrastructure.
  • Exhibit strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills, translating data analysis into actionable insights.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of direct experience in IT asset management.
  • Experience in automating workflows using PowerBI and Python is preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Excel.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across all management levels.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and independent judgment.
  • Capacity to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated initiative and adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Able to manage multiple projects concurrently with a strong desire for continuous learning.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment while applying best practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies, particularly in infrastructure.
