Reliability Engineer for Launch Vehicle Families

Job Overview & Responsibilities
This position is responsible for performing reliability analyses for all Launch Vehicle Families at United Launch Alliance. Efforts include modeling, allocations, predictions, and failure mode assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) spreadsheets, including working with RSE (Responsible Engineer), presenting to the customer, and tracking metrics.
- Update reliability analysis for all programs based on design evolution.
- Attend and present at weekly and monthly meetings.
- Execute systems engineering activities including requirements development, risk, issue, and opportunity management, team and program execution planning, technical decision making, requirements verification activities, customer relationship communication, proposal support, and Gate Review preparation and execution.
- Identify and apply appropriate scaling of systems engineering activities commensurate with the specific project needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field from an accredited college or university.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Systems Engineering and Integration processes and tools.
- Experience performing requirements development, integration, and verification management.
- Knowledge of existing and evolving launch system requirements.
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams to resolve technical and programmatic issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with avionics or electrical engineering.
- Experience generating, allocating, and verifying requirements for Aerospace applications.
- Experience with FMEAs, Fault Trees, Fishbones, or reliability analysis.
- Experience with SAPHIRE.
