Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in assisting with all aspects of our projects from preconstruction through closeout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparing project subcontractor bid lists and soliciting bids from qualified subcontractors.
  • Perform quantity takeoffs for various trades related to constructing a project.
  • Assist with preparation of scopes of work and review with subcontractors.
  • Review and prepare submittals and generate RFI's.
  • Maintain and prepare submittal and RFI logs.
  • Generate and track ROJ logs and QAQC lists.
  • Assist with preparing pricing for change orders and developing correspondence related to project documents.
  • Contribute to project closeout by compiling O&M manuals, distributing close-out letters, and tracking punch list items to completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in the construction industry or a related field.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills, ability to travel to job sites and vendor locations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
