Job Summary

The Healthcare Network, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Medical Officer Administrative Support Specialist to provide exceptional administrative support to the Chief Medical Officer and the medical services division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily reporting and administrative support to the Chief Medical Officer and the medical services division.
  • Assist with clinical and administrative support functions related to the medical services division and affiliated ancillary departments.
  • Serve as clinical support to patients of the Chief Medical Officer when in clinic, or as needed.
  • Act with utmost confidentiality and professionalism in representation of the Chief Medical Officer and the medical staff in all activities and interactions.
  • Develop professional rapport with physicians, dentists, and their office staff.
  • Effectively manage inquiries and requests for the Chief Medical Officer's time and schedule appointments accordingly.
  • Ensure the dissemination of medical staff information to appropriate staff and handle files according to the Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules, and Regulations.
  • Manage multiple calendars for scheduling of meetings, events, interviews, and other activities.
  • Collaborate with other administrative staff and assist as necessary.
  • Coordinate human resources needs with the Chief Medical Officer, medical staff, and allied directors.
  • Assist with credentialing and reappointment processes for providers.
  • Travel to other offices or locations as needed.
Requirements
  • Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • AHA BLS certified.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
  • Highly advanced organizational skills.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Professionally interact with diverse personalities.
  • Bilingual, preferred.
Education and Training
  • Associates degree with strong work experience.
  • 3 years administrative experience in lieu of Associates degree.
