Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate financial documentation, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Engage in month-end closing processes, preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts efficiently.
  • Generate and assess monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Analyze financial summaries and present reports to management regularly.
  • Identify financial trends, variances, and potential opportunities for cost savings or revenue growth.
  • Monitor and report on project expenditures, including labor, materials, and overhead costs.
  • Provide financial insights regarding project profitability and cost management strategies.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers throughout project execution, ensuring accurate cost applications and project completion.
  • Assist in the formulation and oversight of budgets for company operations and specific projects.
  • Offer financial forecasts to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
  • Oversee company expenses, ensuring proper recording and adherence to budgetary limits.
  • Verify and document business transactions, including funds received and disbursed.
  • Utilize our ERP system (Jonas Construction) for effective project management, including cost tracking and revenue recognition.
  • Support year-end audit preparations and coordinate with external auditors.
  • Stay informed on accounting standards, industry regulations, and best practices.
  • Implement and uphold internal controls and company policies.
