We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Professor of Biology at Texas Womans University. The successful candidate will have a strong background in molecular mechanisms of important biological processes and a clear vision for building an impactful research program with potential for extramural funding that includes both undergraduates and graduate students.
Responsibilities- Conduct innovative biological research and teach undergraduate and/or graduate level courses
- Develop and maintain a strong research program with potential for extramural funding
- Collaborate with faculty members from other departments to foster new collaborations
- Contribute to the mission of the University through scholarly endeavors, engagement of students, and outreach to the community and profession
- Ph.D. in Biology or a related field
