Adjunct Professor of Arabic Languages and Cultures

The Department of World Languages, Literatures, and Cultures at the University of North Texas System is seeking highly qualified Adjunct Professors of Arabic to teach undergraduate courses for beginning and intermediate Arabic.
The department offers majors in French, German, and Japanese as well as professional certification in French. The professional certification is useful for careers in travel and tourism, law enforcement, the medical profession, and business. Minors in Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, and Latin are also available.
As an Adjunct Professor of Arabic, you will have the opportunity to teach and mentor students in a diverse and inclusive environment. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours directly related to Arabic and preferably teaching experience.
The estimated salary for this position is $40-$60 per hour, based on the location in Denton, Texas, and the level of experience. The work schedule varies based on the assignment, and you will not be required to drive a university vehicle. This is a security-sensitive position, and you must be able to pass a background check.
