Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Resident Care Associate to join our team at AKHIRE, INC in Juneau, Alaska. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with seniors and long-time Alaskans, providing exceptional care and support in a residential senior care living facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal care, hygiene, and mobility.
  • Monitor and document changes in residents' health or behavior.
  • Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met.
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents.
  • Lift and/or transfer residents as needed.
  • Provide personalized care and attention to detail.
  • Ensure residents feel safe and comfortable when receiving personal care.
  • Develop strong interpersonal skills when working with residents.
Requirements

Resident Care Associate:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and a competent history in a similar facility preferred.
  • Valid First Aid Certifications and, according to state regulations, may need to possess current CPR/CNA Certification, state certifications, and pass an examination and/or skills evaluation.
  • Background check and drug screening required.
  • Speak, read, and understand English fluently.
