About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Providence Alaska Medical Center. As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our patients through one of the most significant moments of their lives.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care to patients in labor and delivery, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest evidence-based practices and technologies.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics within 90 days of hire.
  • 1 year Nursing experience.
