Job Summary

Rogers Group is seeking a highly skilled Plant Operator and Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our asphalt plant facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Monitor Plant Facilities: Ensure the smooth operation of our aggregates plant facilities, including the monitoring of equipment and processes.
  • Routine Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant equipment, including tightening fittings, oiling, and lubricating equipment, replacing bearings, gaskets, and other components.
  • Plant Improvement Projects: Collaborate with management to identify and implement improvements to plant processes and equipment.
  • Daily Inspections and Repairs: Conduct daily inspections of plant equipment and perform repairs as needed.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Servicing: Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management.
  • Operate Equipment and Tools: Operate equipment and tools with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency.
  • Compliance with Company Policies and Regulations: Properly follow all company policies and OSHA/MSHA/environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
Requirements
  • Dedication to Safe Work Practices: Must have a dedication to safe work practices at all times.
  • Previous Maintenance Experience: Previous maintenance experience is required.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Must have mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose and perform plant repairs as needed.
  • Knowledge of Asphalt Plant Utilities and Equipment: Must have working knowledge of asphalt plant utilities and equipment, including crushers, conveyors, scales, etc.
  • Willingness to Work Overtime and Weekends: Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Team Player Attitude: Must have a team player attitude.
  • Pre-Employment Drug Screening: Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
