Role Overview
The Sales Associate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, achieving sales goals, driving team collaboration, maintaining merchandising standards, and safeguarding company assets. This role requires a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to technology provided by the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Create a customer-centric retail experience by fostering a culture of excellence and ensuring a positive customer interaction.
- Maintain awareness of all promotions, products, and e-commerce advertisements to provide accurate information to customers.
- Assist in merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping to maintain a visually appealing store environment.
- Process and replenish merchandise displayed within the store, including price changes and inventory management.
- Operate a computerized point of sale cash register, including accurate sales information, payment processing, and refunds.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of all retail merchandise, including price, special product considerations, and location.
- Perform merchandise receipt processing, including POS system updates, merchant inspection, tagging, stocking, and displays.
- Maintain the store appearance by keeping merchandise neatly organized and attractively displayed.
- Represent the brand through personal appearance and style.
- Ability to commute to other brick-and-mortar locations as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs.
- Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills.
- Unparalleled customer service skills.
- Able to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company.
- Knowledge of administrative aspects of store operations.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to communicate with customers and colleagues.
- Regular attendance is essential to this position to ensure adequate coverage and meet company objectives.
- English language proficiency, with additional languages an advantage.
