Overview

Syms Strategic Group, LLC (SSG) is a leading provider of innovative solutions to the Department of Veterans Affairs. We are currently seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team in support of a large government program.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing test automation strategies, creating automation test plans, and configuring Selenium test environments. They will also create and manage test automation resources, design and develop automated tests, and integrate with CI/CD tools and pipelines.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree, experience working in agile environments, and comprehensive technical expertise on IT products and operating systems. They must also have 8+ years of experience in automated software development and testing, with expertise in Java, C#, or Python development, and flat file processing, API, or backend testing.

Desired Experience

Candidates with experience testing EDI and financial transaction systems, as well as MUMPS, VistA, and other VA systems, will be highly regarded. Additionally, U.S. citizenship is required for this specific opportunity.

Security Clearance Requirements

The selected candidate must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance.
