About the Role

As a Youth Advocate, you will be responsible for providing direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families. Your primary responsibilities will include initiating, organizing, planning, developing, and implementing service plans based on a strength-based approach using the wrap-around model.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Positive Role Model

Applicants must be dependable, committed, and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in the community, school, and home settings.

Provide Direct Advocacy Services

The primary responsibilities of the Advocate are to initiate, organize, plan, develop, and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families.

Implement Service Plans

All service plans will be based on a strength-based approach using the wrap-around model.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, applicants should have:

  • A minimum High School Diploma or GED
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience with the target population preferred
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance coverage
