About the Role

Riverside Park SurgiCenter is seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining supplies, instruments, and equipment for surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain supplies, instruments, and equipment for surgical procedures
  • Support the surgical team during procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient environment
  • Assist with patient preparation and positioning for surgery
  • Participate in quality improvement activities to enhance patient care and surgical outcomes
  • Support the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Completion of an appropriate surgical technician program or previous surgical technician experience of at least two years
  • Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
  • Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed
  • Excellent team player with strong communication skills
