Job Title: Roving Event Security Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Roving Event Security Supervisor to join our team at Dickies Arena. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, staff, and event personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage Roving Event Security teams to provide a safe and secure environment at Dickies Arena.
  • Investigate and respond to incidents, customer complaints, and emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
  • Write detailed reports on all incidents or potential problems that occur within the arena.
  • Conduct thorough shift briefings for assigned staff for all events.
  • Monitor assigned sections for staff and guest safety issues.
  • Manage post-event activity staff such as clearing the seating area, concourses, and plaza.
  • Monitor parking lots during events as required.
Requirements:
  • 21 years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Registered with the Texas Commission of Private Security.
  • Active Level 3 Card.
  • Law Enforcement background preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift, pull, push, and/or carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
Working Conditions:

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, with the exception of event days, where the sound levels may be higher than average.

The employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions; however, the duties of this position are performed primarily indoors.

The employee may occasionally be required to assist in lift/move 50 lbs. or more.

The employee may occasionally work near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.
