Job Title: Computer Science Teacher

As a Computer Science Teacher at LEAD Public Schools, you will be responsible for designing and implementing rigorous unit plans and lessons that meet the needs of all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement coding programs and curriculum
  • Participate in bi-weekly coaching meetings to internalize content, teaching moves, and classroom management
  • Collaborate with colleagues in a collaborative learning environment
  • Execute school-based duties as assigned by the school leadership team

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in computer science
  • Minimum of two years teaching experience preferred, but not required
  • Previous experience with diverse student populations or in an urban setting preferred

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required
  • Proficiency in at least 3 CS languages
