Stew Leonard's, a family-owned and operated fresh food store, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Culinary Specialist to join our team. As a Culinary Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items for retail by following established recipes, standards, and procedures.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Inventorying cases and preparing production lists
  • Following recipes to prepare and reheat food items
  • Rotating products on display
  • Adhering to all health, sanitation, and safety regulations
  • Assisting in other duties as assigned

Requirements for this role include:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent with 1 to 3 years of experience
  • Current Culinary Arts student or graduate, preferred
  • Knowledge of food preparation
  • Safely using and operating knives, ovens, scales, wrapping machines, steamers, mixers, and all other equipment required in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen
  • Excellent customer service
  • Good oral communication skills
