Job Description: Restaurant Manager – Full-Service, High-Volume Restaurant, Clifton, NJ

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager for our full-service, high-volume establishment in Clifton, New Jersey. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can inspire a team, maintain high standards of service, and manage the overall restaurant operations efficiently. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
  • Lead and train the front-of-house team, ensuring excellent service and guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and communication between the front and back of the house.
  • Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance to ensure a high-functioning team.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and ensure the restaurant remains clean, organized, and well-prepared.
  • Implement inventory management, cost control, and labor management to optimize profitability.
  • Resolve guest issues and troubleshoot operational challenges efficiently and diplomatically.
  • Drive sales and marketing initiatives, including events and promotions, to increase foot traffic and revenue.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager in a full-service, high-volume setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, proactive management style.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management, including budgeting, inventory, and labor costs.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
