The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) plays a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and treatment in emergency and non-emergency situations. As a key member of the Global Medical Response team, the EMT is responsible for responding to medical emergencies, delivering compassionate care, and ensuring the safe transportation of patients.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to emergency and non-emergency medical calls, providing patient care and treatment in accordance with established protocols and Company policies.
- Operate Company vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and Risk & Safety policies.
- Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of medical treatment protocols, response procedures, and Company policies.
- Collaborate with dispatch, facility staff, and other responders to ensure seamless patient care and transportation.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and services rendered.
- Valid Driver's License and State EMT certification.
- CPR/BLS certifications.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
The EMT will work in a variety of settings, including emergency vehicles, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to stress and high-pressure situations.
