Financial Planning & Analysis Role

MAKE UP FOR EVER, a subsidiary of LVMH, seeks a Financial Planning & Analysis Associate to join our New York City Office. Reporting to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, this role will support the preparation of monthly financial closings, analyze brand financial performance, and provide actionable insights to drive profitability and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Support the preparation of monthly financial closings, including coordination with the accounting team and comprehensive analysis and reporting to HQ.
  • Forecasting: Participate in the preparation of all sales & financial forecasts, in collaboration with the commercial, marketing and operations teams.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze the brand financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to drive profitability and growth.
  • Budget Management: Partner with local teams to develop and manage budgets for operational expenses, with a particular focus on marketing expenses.
  • Ad-hoc Projects: Assist with ad-hoc projects and analysis as needed.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Experience: 2 years of relevant financial planning or accounting experience.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, written & verbal; advanced Excel skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Hands-on, organized, rigorous, detail-oriented, and data-driven.
