Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Preschool Education Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our educational staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our young students.
Key Responsibilities- Assist teachers with class activities and provide individualized support to students as needed.
- Work collaboratively with teachers to develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse language backgrounds and skill levels.
- Manage small groups of students and direct them in activities, promoting socialization and learning.
- Display enthusiasm, understanding, and commitment to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Assist with classroom cleaning, diaper changing, and potty training as needed.
- Develop and implement mini-lessons that are incorporated into the main curriculum, promoting creativity and critical thinking.
- Communicate effectively with parents and school personnel through various channels.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and curriculum specialists to share ideas and best practices.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- At least 6 ECE units or willingness to take courses.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to evaluate, analyze, and solve challenges when working with young children.
- Familiarity with education software and Google Suite is a plus.
- Excellent multitasking abilities, balancing responsibilities with children and other tasks.
- Preference given to candidates with at least 1 year of experience in a preschool setting.
