We are seeking a dedicated and passionate ICT SPED teacher to join our team at KIPP NYC Public Schools.

Compensation and BenefitsThe salary for this position ranges from $69,440 to $142,270 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as generous time-off and parental leave policies.
Job DescriptionThe ICT SPED teacher will co-teach alongside a general education teacher in an inclusion classroom setting to support all students in the classroom. The ICT teacher will co-plan and deliver lessons that incorporate multiple learning modalities, adapt and modify instruction, and create strategies and meaningful interventions to support students' learning.
- Teaching a rigorous academic curriculum aligned with New York State standards
- Teaching students in a high-quality, exciting way
- Committing to constant professional and personal growth through working closely as part of a team of teachers
- Constantly assessing student progress, and communicating results to families and colleagues
- Providing individual or small group instruction for students who need additional assistance
- Strong interpersonal skills that contribute to a collegial working environment and a healthy measure of the character traits we value: zest, grit, hope, love, social intelligence, gratitude, and a sense of humor
- At least two years of teaching experience strongly preferred
- New York State teacher certification in the appropriate content area
- Bachelor's degree required
