Responsibilities:- Develop and implement individualized care plans for critically ill patients.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Mentor students and colleagues in patient-centered care, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Conduct purposeful rounding from the patient and family perspective, ensuring that their needs are met and their concerns are addressed.
- Report directly to the Clinical Nurse Manager and independently be responsible for the safe and effective delivery of patient-centered care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Educate patients and families through the continuum of care, promoting health literacy and empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
- Demonstrate professionalism, adhere to ANA standards of practice, and exemplify the Adventist HealthCare values as they fulfill our nursing mission and vision.
- Utilize equipment and technology correctly, delegate non-nursing duties appropriately to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a minimum of an Associate of Science degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Valid Maryland RN license required.
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certification required.
- One year of current Critical Care experience or related acute care experience.
3 -12hr shifts; 11am - 11pm
Pay Range:$55.00
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount or if the position is Per Diem (offering a fixed rate), salary discussions will occur during the screening process.
