Role Summary:
The Senior Auditor I is a seasoned auditor adept at managing the daily operations of audits and may have experience in leading engagements and overseeing junior auditors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist audit teams during financial, operational, regulatory, and/or Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) audit assignments.
  • Support special investigations as needed.
  • Assess and validate financial, operational, and regulatory processes, risks, and controls at the audit engagement level.
  • Implement work programs and document workpapers and other audit materials in accordance with professional standards and FIS Internal Audit methodologies.
  • Observe, comprehend, and document detailed narratives and/or process flows for financial, operational, and regulatory processes, identifying risks and key controls.
  • Conduct and document walkthroughs related to the design testing of controls within financial, operational, regulatory, and SOX audit projects.
  • Formulate logical and defensible conclusions.
  • Contribute to well-structured and insightful reports summarizing audit findings.
  • Proactively manage the tracking of audit findings and document status updates from management action owners, ensuring timely execution of remediation testing.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships within the audit team and across the organization.
  • Establish trust and credibility with key stakeholders.
  • Actively seek performance feedback and coaching, taking ownership of personal professional development.
  • Contribute to a high-performance culture.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, technology, or a related field.
  • Willingness to travel (up to 5%, depending on location).
  • Exceptional communication skills (both oral and written).
