Banking Trainee

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Banking Trainee to join our team at Middlesex Savings Bank. As a Banking Trainee, you will play a critical role in representing the bank to the public and promoting our core values and mission.

• Customer Experience: Develop an understanding of customers' needs and expectations, and offer products and services that address those needs and expectations.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure quality and accuracy of work, develop sound technical knowledge, and stay informed of alerts and company communications.
• Teamwork: Be an engaged member of the branch team, support branch supervisors, and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Credibility: Follow through on tasks and assignments, manage time and priorities effectively, and demonstrate flexibility.
• Decision Making: Understand and comply with bank policies and procedures, and bring requests for exceptions to branch supervisors as appropriate.

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associate's Degree or some college preferred.
• Work Experience: 6-12 months of cash handling or customer service related experience required.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Basic math principles, customer service, sales, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and intermediate technology skills.
