About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Renewable Energy Technician to join our Installation team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently installing residential and small commercial PV solar systems. Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer competitive bonuses for completed projects, annual raises based on performance, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Job Responsibilities

• Lay out, assemble, and install solar arrays and mounting hardware.
• Assist with electrical wiring of all energy products.
• Prepare and clean up job sites.
• Pull materials for each installation job.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the process.
• Represent Exact Solar as a field contact for customers, interact with customers with integrity, and maintain a professional appearance and attitude.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in roofing, general construction, carpentry, or similar trade is valued.
• Ability to safely handle tools and materials, including ladders, inverters, solar panels, panel boards, batteries, and other electrical equipment.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights, including rooftops, climbing ladders and stairs, and performing repetitive duties like lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
• Experience using basic hand and power tools.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality end-products is required.
• Reliability and positive attitude are essential.
• Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment.
• Must successfully pass pre-employment screening requirements and have a valid driver's license and ability to drive or have other transportation daily to/from our warehouse in Newtown, PA.
