Key Responsibilities- Thoroughly clean and sanitize public areas, guest rooms, and restrooms; manage waste disposal and replenish supplies as needed
- Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure compliance with housekeeping standards; maintain cleanliness and organization in linen rooms and workspaces
- Occasionally interact with and assist guests while performing cleaning duties
- Report maintenance issues to the supervisor
- Ensure all lost and found items are properly logged and submitted daily
- No prior experience required; previous experience in commercial cleaning or customer service is preferred
- Familiarity with various cleaning tools and equipment
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and follow instructions
- Basic mathematical skills for simple calculations
- No high school diploma or GED necessary
- Frequent standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying; proficient use of hands for operating cleaning equipment and performing scrubbing/washing tasks
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Visual acuity sufficient to assess the cleanliness of rooms and surfaces
