As a Counterparty Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for underwriting credit reviews for new Correspondent and Warehouse Lending clients and for the regular monitoring of approved clients.

Your key responsibilities will include:

* Performing credit analysis of prospective and approved mortgage companies and financial institutions
* Reviewing due diligence that includes analysis of delinquency reporting, policy and procedures, legal structure
* Completing comprehensive credit write-ups for counterparty approval recommendation
* Monitoring client performance on a monthly basis
* Recertifying clients to ensure they meet the requirements to maintain approval status
* Performing other related duties as required and assigned

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* Ability to analyze financial statements and effectively prepare written analyses
* Working knowledge of mortgage company operating structures preferred
* Must be highly proficient in Excel and Word
* Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred

**Compensation:**

* Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location/market data, and skills and experience as defined below:

* Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role
* Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role
* Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role

Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.

$50,000 - $75,000
