At Intermountain Health, we're seeking a highly skilled Clinical Voice and Swallow Specialist to join our team at St George Regional Hospital in Utah.

About the Role

This part-time position (29 hours) has the potential to grow to full-time (40 hours). We're looking for someone with preferred experience in Voice and Swallow primarily, and other diagnoses. As a member of our Speech Language Pathology team, you'll provide clinical services using evidence-based practices, set goals, and determine the duration and intensity of services for each patient's needs.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide Clinical Services: Utilize standards of care and evidence-based practices to deliver high-quality patient care.
  2. Supervise and Educate: Supervise colleagues, new employees, students, and others in training, as well as mentor student clinician externship/affiliations/new employee(s).
  3. Maintain Effective Communication: Foster strong relationships with professionals, patients, families, and caregivers through effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree: A Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program is required.
  • Licensure: Current state Speech Pathologist license and Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers are necessary.
  • Certifications: A current certificate of clinical competence is also required.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, including word processing and email, are essential.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Outpatient Adult Experience: Outpatient adult experience in Voice, Stroboscopy, Swallow, and FEES, as well as evaluation and treatment of other disorders that affect Speech, Language, and Cognitive-Communication function.
Salary and Benefits

The hourly range for this position is $41.22 - $63.59, with an estimated annual salary of $85,563 - $131,388 based on 40 hours per week.
