**Job Summary**
We're seeking a highly skilled MRI Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for performing MRI examinations, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining the highest level of image quality. If you have a passion for diagnostic imaging and excellent patient care skills, we'd love to hear from you

**Responsibilities**
- Perform MRI examinations according to departmental protocols and standards
- Ensure proper patient identification, order identification, and prepares the patient appropriately for the exam
- Understands MRI scanning parameters and selects appropriate technical parameters and scanning techniques to ensure clinical exams are of good quality

- Maintains competency in all clinical and technical functions of the job
- Follows appropriate Intermountain policy and procedure including clinical documentation, billing, and electronic medical record workflows

**Requirements**
- ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification -or- ARRT(R) certification with at least 1 year full-time experience in MRI
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelors Degree in MRI or Advanced Radiologic Science is preferred

**Work Environment**
The MRI Specialist will work in a fast-paced hospital environment, interacting with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals. You'll need to be able to lift and move equipment, stand for long periods, and navigate crowded rooms safely.

**Salary**
$37.46 - $57.80 per hour
