We are seeking a highly skilled Arborist and Utility Line Trimmer to join our team in Unionville, MO. The successful candidate will possess excellent tree maintenance skills, knowledge of aerial lift equipment, and a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

This role requires the ability to safely operate a bucket truck, perform pruning and trimming tasks, and remove branches and tree material from utility lines. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries.

Job Summary: We are looking for a qualified individual to work as a Bucket Truck Operator and Tree Maintenance Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for clearing and trimming trees and brush away from utility lines, removing branches and tree material, and performing other tree maintenance activities as directed by the General Foreperson.

The estimated salary for this position is $58,000 - $68,000 per year, based on industry standards and market conditions in Unionville, MO.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a bucket truck and perform pruning and trimming tasks
  • Clear and trim trees and brush away from utility lines
  • Remove branches and tree material from utility lines
  • Maintain and keep track of all tools and equipment used in daily operations
  • Constantly observe and practice climbing and tree maintenance skills
  • Be ready and willing to assist other crew members in all aspects of daily activities
  • Safeguard employees and public from hazards in and around the work area

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries preferred
  • A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
  • Ability to work at considerable heights under varying and adverse weather conditions
  • Physical strength and agility, good balance, good depth perception, and the ability to hear verbal instructions from a distance
