  • Patient Interaction

  • Scheduling and Coordination

    • Coordinate patient check-in and check-out processes, including collecting co-pays and verifying insurance plans.
  • Clinical Support
    • Assist patients with vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturation, and respiration.
    • Room patients and obtain medical histories, including allergies and current medications.
    • Document patient information accurately and efficiently.
  • Administrative Support
    • Perform data entry and scanning of patient documents.
    • Collect and distribute mail and other correspondence.
    • Assist with laboratory and diagnostic testing, including ordering supplies and equipment.
  • Medical Procedures
    • Assist physicians with medical procedures, including preparing patients and operating equipment.
    • Sanitize treatment rooms and sterilize instruments after each use.
  • Inventory Management
    • Order supplies and equipment as needed.
    • Notify management of inventory levels and equipment maintenance needs.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Medical assisting certification or training preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
