Job Purpose:

As a Beach Attendant at AccorHotel, you will be responsible for providing exceptional and enjoyable safe beach experiences to our guests. You will greet guests, provide beach towels, escort guests to their chairs, set up and refresh cabanas, and maintain the cleanliness and physical appearance of the beach area.

Duties & Functions:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Assist and support Beach Servers and Beach staff as needed.
  • Expedite the service of food from the kitchen to Beach guests and pick up dirty glassware and plates.
  • Perform routine opening and closing side duties, including preparing and folding napkins and stocking and presetting up of stations.
  • Assist to remove used dishes and trash from the guest beach area.
  • Maintain the proper care and cleanliness of tableware and serving equipment.
  • Ensure order and cleanliness in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Refill beverages and provide friendly, courteous, and professional service at all times.
  • Prepare tea, coffee, water, and soft drinks.
  • Maintain communication between the kitchen, managers, and floor staff.
  • Understand the operational setup and principles of the Beach.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Communicate effectively with employees and provide clear direction to the venue teams.
  • Communicate with employees using a positive and clear speaking voice, listen to and understand requests, respond with appropriate actions, and provide accurate information.
  • Remain calm and alert, especially during emergency situations and/or heavy restaurant activity, serving as a role model for team and other employees.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • One to two years in a public contact position, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel.
  • Exceptional personality and hospitality-driven attitude.
  • Gracious, friendly, and fun demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and have a high level of attention to detail.
  • Maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments.
  • Ability to work independently and partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork.
  • Ability to stand or walk for a minimum of eight hours.
  • Ability to observe and respond to various situations while multitasking and handling stressful situations.
  • Ability to twist, tow, reach, bend, climb, and carry objects as necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Ability to work inside and outside at all times of the year as needed based on business volumes.
