Role Overview:

The NG911 Integration Architect plays a crucial role in the design, implementation, and management of integration solutions tailored for Next Generation 911 systems. This position demands a unique combination of technical proficiency, strategic insight, and experience in emergency communication frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of system functionalities and requirements.
  • Maintain a robust enterprise architecture by adhering to established engineering and architectural best practices.
  • Facilitate comprehensive end-to-end testing discussions, develop test cases for System Acceptance Testing (SAT) and System Integration Testing (SIT), and pinpoint opportunities for automation and scripting.
  • Review and validate test outcomes against architectural deliverables for accuracy.

Scope of Services:

  • Deliver consistent and secure integration solutions across the enterprise, including the identification and approval of technical specifications and the development of technology solutions.
  • Engage with Engineers, Applied Engineers, Architects, and Project Managers to ensure the interoperability of the system of systems.
  • Support the creation, optimization, and execution of Quality Assurance/Acceptance Test Plan (ATP) test plans across the enterprise.

Mandatory Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in a relevant technical or business application, product, platform, or methodology.
  • Proven ability to devise strategies around defined applications or processes.
  • In-depth understanding of the systems development life cycle.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation and facilitation abilities.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, creativity, and flexibility, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Expertise in Enterprise Integration and the design of Mission Critical 911 systems.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • At least 12 years of experience in Enterprise Integration, Engineering, Testing, and Quality Assurance, particularly within Public Safety environments.
  • A Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field.
