Job Summary

USA Mortgage is seeking a highly skilled Post Closing Manager to lead our Post Closing team and processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for expediting loan purchase and maintaining healthy warehouse funding lines in accordance with Company, Industry, and Investor policies, guidelines, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and enhance the Post Closing team and functions to ensure timely and accurate purchase of loans off the warehouse lines, ensuring financial protection of the Company and the DAS ESOP.
  • Collaborate with senior management and staff to ensure post-close loan documents are accurate and complete, in compliance with regulatory and investor guidelines, and delivered for final approval and purchase within established timelines.
  • Monitor warehouse line balances and identify opportunities to expedite loan purchase, while addressing discrepancies that may slow the process.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest updates in company, regulatory, and investor guidelines.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, including investors and warehouse lines.
Requirements
  • Broad knowledge and experience in residential mortgage loans, with a clear understanding of current RESPA laws and guidelines.
  • Detailed knowledge of post-closing best practices and procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to various stakeholders.
  • Ability to interpret rules, regulations, and guidelines, and apply that interpretation to business processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing projects and work under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of management experience and 5+ years of mortgage experience, with a focus on processing, underwriting, or auditing.
  • Working knowledge of Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA guidelines.
  • Experience with Encompass and basic underwriting, processing, and closing procedures.
Work Environment

USA Mortgage is an extremely fast-paced office environment, requiring close vision and regular on-site attendance.
